I have the technical knowledge, business experience and legal acumen required to understand my clients’ businesses and help them maximize their flexibility and minimize their risks in licensing transactions.  I help structure, draft, negotiate and implement licenses taking into account the business and regulatory environment pertaining to the transaction.  I advocate for my clients in both collaborative and adversarial settings, helping them achieve the best possible outcomes.  My licensing experience covers all aspects of intellectual property licensing, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.  I have negotiated and prepared numerous licenses, both inbound and outbound, on behalf of both licensors and licensees – always seeking optimal commercialization while maintaining adequate protection of IP rights.  Some of the licensing matters I have handled for clients include:
